Summer Fellowship Program

Looking to explore policy consulting before joining a full case team? The RSG Summer Fellowship Program offers a hands-on introduction to public service consulting — no prior experience required. Applications open early each summer. Spots are limited.

This four-week remote program is designed to give Harvard undergraduates a meaningful glimpse into our work and community. Fellows will engage in:

• Peer Collaboration: Work closely with a cohort of other fellows in guided workshops and feedback sessions. 

• Mock Case Simulation: Tackle a simulated policy challenge based on real-world issues, learning how to approach research, stakeholder analysis, and strategy development. 

• Final Deliverable: Create and present a short, client-style memo or presentation — a product that reflects the same structure and standards used on our real case teams.

Students who complete the fellowship will receive priority consideration in our official recruitment cycle, making this program a great first step for anyone interested in joining a case team during the academic year.
